Getting Help

I have been struggling with my weight, even more so, since I retired a few years ago. After speaking with my gp, I made the decision to get professional help. My goal is to change my relationship with food. For the better.

I have seen people struggle to quit smoking or other problematic habits, and I feel one of the big differences between those habits and poor eating is that I have to eat to live. That's how it gets you. There's no way around avoiding food forever.

My updates will appear here. I'm not going to use stomach surgery because I feel that I will still eat the wrong foods, just tiny portions of them.

My goal is to eat healthy and have a positive mental attitude about the new way that food and I are going to move forward.
