Digital Product License Agreement

Return Policy

Effective Date: July 19, 2025

This Return and Exchange Policy applies to all purchases made through www.survivinglifelessons.com, including digital downloads, printed books (softcover and hardcover), and services such as coaching or group programs. By making a purchase on this website, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined herein.

1. Digital Products

All sales of digital products, including but not limited to eBooks, downloadable journals, printable content, and other digital media, are final. Due to the nature of digital goods, we do not accept returns or offer refunds once the product has been downloaded or accessed.

In the event of a technical issue, such as an inaccessible or corrupted file, you must notify us in writing at support@survivinglifelessons.com within seven (7) calendar days of the purchase date. Upon verification, we will make reasonable efforts to resolve the issue by replacing the file or offering an alternative format. Refunds will be issued only if the product cannot be accessed after all reasonable troubleshooting efforts have been exhausted.

2. Physical Products (Printed Books Fulfilled by Lulu)

Printed books and journals offered through this website are fulfilled by a third-party print-on-demand partner (Lulu). As such, all physical products are printed and shipped specifically for each order.

Returns or exchanges will only be accepted under the following conditions:

  • The item was received in a defective or damaged condition;

  • The item received does not match the product ordered.

 

In such cases, the customer must notify us via email at support@survivinglifelessons.com within seven (7) calendar days of receipt. The notification must include the order number, a detailed description of the issue, and clear photographic evidence of the defect or error. Upon verification, a replacement or refund may be issued at our discretion.

Returns will not be accepted for any of the following reasons:

  • Buyer’s remorse or a change of mind;

  • Minor cosmetic inconsistencies attributable to the print-on-demand process;

  • Incorrect shipping information provided by the customer;

  • Shipping delays caused by carriers or customs.

 

Since each physical product is made to order, we cannot restock returned items that are not defective.
 

We are not responsible for:

  • Shipping delays

  • Customer input errors (e.g., incorrect address or product selection)

  • Minor imperfections that do not affect readability or use

Lulu’s return and shipping policies may also apply

3. Coaching and Other Services

All coaching, consultations, and service-based offerings are governed by the Coaching Terms and Cancellation Policy.

Refunds will not be provided for sessions that have already been completed or for appointments missed without adequate notice. Sessions may be rescheduled or canceled with no penalty up to twenty-four (24) hours prior to the scheduled appointment time. Refunds or credits for properly canceled sessions may be issued at the discretion of Surviving Life Lessons.

4. Exchanges

We do not offer exchanges for digital products or services.

For physical products fulfilled through third-party distributors (such as Lulu), exchanges are only permitted in cases of verified damage or fulfillment error. If your item arrives damaged or you receive an incorrect product, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with supporting documentation (including photos of the damage or error). If the issue is validated, we will provide a replacement copy at no additional cost.

Exchanges will not be granted in the following cases:

  • Buyer’s remorse

  • Incorrect item selection by the customer

  • Minor cosmetic issues that do not affect readability or usability

  • Delays caused by shipping carriers

  • Incorrect address submitted at checkout

5. Contact and Resolution Process

For any questions or concerns regarding your purchase, including requests related to refunds or returns, please contact our support team at support@survivinglifelessons.com. We strive to respond to all inquiries within two (2) business days.

6. Policy Acknowledgment and Updates

By completing a purchase through this website, you acknowledge and agree to abide by the terms set forth in this Return Policy. We reserve the right to update or modify this policy at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the website and its services after such modifications constitutes your acknowledgment and acceptance of the updated terms.

7. Governing Terms

This Return Policy is subject to and incorporated into our Terms and Conditions. In the event of a conflict between this Return Policy and any other document, the Terms and Conditions shall control.
