Coaching Services Cancellation & Refund Policy

Effective Date: April 1, 2025

At Surviving Life Lessons, LLC, we value your time — and ours. Whether you're joining us for a Neighbor Chat, Next Step Coaching, or any of our support offerings, your session is a commitment from both parties. The following Cancellation & Refund Policy applies to all coaching and support services booked through our website.

Booking & Scheduling

All sessions are scheduled through our automated booking system on www.survivinglifelessons.com. Clients receive confirmation and reminder emails through Wix Bookings.
Clients are responsible for managing their bookings using the reschedule or cancel links provided in those emails.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

Cancellations with at least 24 hours' notice:
- Clients may cancel or reschedule their appointment up to 24 hours prior to the scheduled session time without penalty.
- You may reschedule for a future date or request a full refund by emailing: survivinglifelessons@gmail.com. Leave a detailed explanation.
Cancellations less than 24 hours before your session:
- Late cancellations (less than 24 hours) will be treated as completed sessions. No refund will be provided. This includes same-day cancellations.
- Rescheduling within 24 hours is also not permitted unless a verified emergency occurs.
Emergencies:
- One-time courtesy reschedules may be granted for emergencies (e.g., hospitalization, family crisis) upon submission of appropriate documentation by email to survivinglifelessons@gmail.com.

No-Show Policy

When you book a session, your host prepares, logs in, and dedicates that time exclusively to you. If you do not attend your scheduled session, and will wait online:

If you fail to attend a booked session and do not notify us at least 24 hours in advance, the session will be marked as completed, and no refund will be issued.

Late Arrivals

Clients who arrive late (e.g., join Zoom late) will receive the remaining time in their session. Sessions end at the scheduled time.
No extensions or refunds are offered for late arrivals.

Multi-Session Packages

All sessions in a package must be used within 6 months of the purchase date.
Sessions missed without 24+ hour notice will be forfeited.
Extensions will only be granted in cases of verified emergencies.

Coach-Initiated Cancellations

If Surviving Life Lessons or your host cancels a session, clients will receive the choice of a full refund or free reschedule.
You will be notified via email as soon as possible.

Why This Policy Exists

Our sessions are hosted by real people who dedicate energy and preparation to your time slot. Once a time is reserved, it becomes unavailable to others. This policy helps protect the availability and sustainability of our services while maintaining fairness to all clients.

Agreement & Acknowledgment

By scheduling a coaching or support session with Surviving Life Lessons, LLC, you agree to this Cancellation & Refund Policy.
This policy is also referenced during the checkout and booking confirmation processes.
